ABOUT NAZÁR

Nazar is a metaphor for perspective in Hindi and refers to vision in Urdu. A fitting description for the content of this blog – comprehending the world and its foundation through various perspectives.

Using tools such as cultural principles, human emotions, informed opinions and research, this blog analyzes social structures and how major decisions are affected. The design follows a lifestyle and fashion blog as I am always inspired by their creativity. The subject matter remains informational and my primary purpose is to engage the reader in subject matter that is loaded with information but soften the delivery to accommodate a wider audience.

As an over-thinker I was always intrigued by thinkers and philosophers such as Plato, Machiavelli, Karl Marx and Rabindranath Tagore to name a few. Their ability to strip away a concept to its core meaning and implications – questioning the very assumptions it lies upon, left me in awe of their work. I of course began to think of ideas in similar patterns. I used my analytical skills in academics but have now transitioned to other areas such as lifestyles, mental health, concept of the ‘good life’ and so forth. The idea of this website began two years ago as I was coming out of university and into the ‘real world’, but over time as I have grown and developed, this website has grown with me.

I think as we grow up in our individual societies, we tend to take information as it is given to us without thinking for ourselves. This includes economic principles, societal values and even policies. I’ve had to do a lot of my own thinking with these three disciples and of course question my own lifestyle in my personal life. This has allowed me to wipe out some of my belief systems I had at an earlier age. I hope to provide that opportunity here.
